“There never really was a doubt as to whether I should support FinMarie. The current development during the lockdown had made it so obvious again how big the gap of ambition vs. facts ref. financial equality of the genders in Germany still is. Serving as an advisor for FinMarie for me represents the opportunity to give this topic and possible solutions even more awareness and visibility.”

– Brigitte Zypries

“Each day I realize how small the degree of female influence within the startup and investors scene in Germany still remains. This is a massive motivation for me to help women via FinMarie to gain more economic confidence as well as influence. I am convinced, like this we can help grow the female influence in founder teams as well as investment committees.”

– Mirco Dragowski

“In addition to short-term economic success, female and mixed teams often also rely on sustainable factors, such as community and other social aspects, which can make an important difference in both the medium and long term. I am pleased to be able to join FinMarie in the development of a sustainably successful startup.”

Even more inspiration - among women

A first event in cooperation with Brigitte Zypries is intended to take place in August, others to follow in September.

“The current situation obviously means we need to be extremely careful and act responsible referring to the health and safety of participants and speakers as well. At the same time we are confident we’ll find a format that is as safe as inspirational as well.”
